This state park has the unusual distinction as being the terminus point for two trail systems. The first trail system of distinction is the Wapack Trail, which heads north for twenty miles to North Pack Monadnock in Greenfield, NH. The second trail system is the Midstate Trail, which weaves south through central Massachusetts to the Connecticut state line.
Fun hike. Wear sturdy shoes.
We did the loop trail Thanksgiving weekend it was a lot of fun. Weather was great and the view at the top is spectacular. Definitely coming back to do this one again.
Great place to hike multiple trails up not to steep. Great viue of Boston and the surrounding area on a clear day from the summit.
